Jack Player
While visiting a relative in Murray a small dump was discovered in the orchard. Fascinated he and his son Johnny began to dig. It didn't take long for them to get hooked. Soon they invited a cousin Ivan
to dig with them and one of Utahs greatest digging teams was born. I thought that I was a packrat. I have kept most of everything I have dug over the years. But when I visited Jack, I discovered that he is the King (or at least some degree or royalty) of all packrats. He loves each and every one of the wonderful items he has collected. He continues to dig and purchase more. Each room in Jack's home has a shelf or cabinet full of bottles. There is no wasted space on the walls. In the bottle room downstairs, the shelves are 1.5 feet wide going around the room. They are crammed with bottles. Not just junk, but some really good stuff. There is a path around the room only big enough to go past the shelves because the center of the room is stacked high with full boxes of more bottles. The garage roof is covered with purple bottles. The garage has more boxes stacked high and then there are TWO sheds full of boxes in the back yard. It is absolutely incredible and his love of each one is evident as he shows it off. In addition he has taken a liking to the cobalt sodas and has purchases a significant number to adorn other windows in the home. Here you will find a collection of Utah items second only to the Stan
Sanders collection. Plus a broad selection of any other thing imaginable. See Jack's collection of DENHALTER SODA VARIANTS! Contact Jack [email protected] |
