I got into digging, because my grandpa used to be a bottle digger down in Elsinore, UT. Growing up he would take me with him, and we would see what we could find. Then throughout my military career, I would try and dig wherever I was stationed, other than Utah, my favorite place being Colorado. I love history, exploration, and the challenge of digging. Plus, I get to meet new people, hear great stories, and learn more about each area. It's also why I love rock hounding, so much history to explore and treasures to find!
